The modded client for Sequence. It builds a separate modded copy of The Isle beside your Steam install, keeps it up to date, and leaves your normal game alone.
Most players want this one. It installs for your user only, so Windows never asks for an administrator password, and it updates itself from then on.
SequenceLauncher-Setup.exeNo installer, and nothing written to Program Files — it runs from wherever you put it. It does not update itself, so you have to come back to this tab for every new version.
SequenceLauncher-Portable.exeOne file, no installer, no admin. Save it, allow it to run (right-click > Properties > Permissions > allow executing file as program, or chmod +x), and open it. It updates itself. Run The Isle once through Steam first so Proton is set up — the launcher starts the modded copy through your own Proton.
SequenceLauncher.AppImageThree things surprise people. None of them is a fault, and all both have one click each.
Our build is not code-signed, so Microsoft Defender SmartScreen shows that blue box. It is the warning for a publisher Windows has not seen before — it is not a virus report, and it will happen every time until we buy a signing certificate.
If you would rather check first, the SHA-256 of every file we publish is at the bottom of this page.
Once the launcher has opened the game, search for this name in The Isle's own server browser:
Hop in and enjoy.
Optional, and only worth it if the warning bothered you. Run this in PowerShell in your Downloads folder and compare what it prints to the value below.
Every file we publish is listed at checksums.txt. Trouble getting in? Ask in Discord — somebody is usually about.
